70% Dark Chocolate Sampler Set (x4 25gm bars)

I will not be buying Argencove products any longer. I can not support a country with a dictator like ortega.

The title kind of sums it up. I have had what I thought was good Dark Chocolate but I recently came to learn that there were Chocolate tasters and such and listened to what they had to say in their tastings and I knew I wasn't getting that experience. So my girlfriend and I tried this set last night and we were pretty impressed at the depth and range of flavors chocolate could contain. I learned that I am certainly not yet qualified to judge or review chocolate because I didn't know these flavors were even a part of the experience but I sure as hell enjoyed tasting these and learning how little I actually know. I can't really tell you if this is five-star chocolate or not because tasting THIS chocolate taught me that I didn't know chocolate.
I can only say that I would highly recommend to anyone who thinks that good Dark Chocolate tastes like good Dark Chocolate and doesn't know it can taste like cherry and pipe tobacco (in a good way) that they try this sampler and open a new world for themselves. I'm glad I did.

It's unsettling to think I've never tasted chocolate before this. I'm glad Argencove was my first foray into single origin chocolate and I'm going to need to maintain supply.

We visited the Chocolate Factory in Granada when on holiday a couple weeks ago, and had delicious samples and an interesting and informative tour from one of the owners. Once back home in Oregon, I ordered chocolate for a “Tropical Paradise” dinner party I was hosting for 16 cousins and it was a hit!! What a treat!
Exquisite chocolate!!

Amazing! I never tasted what chocolate really tastes like.
